Emergency Cancellations and Closings
In the event of severe weather conditions and warnings, church offices and events may be closed and cancelled. Tune in to WCSG 91.3 FM, WOOD 1300 AM, 105.7FM, WOOD TV Channel 8, or WZZM TV Channel 13 for reported cancellations.
Closing of Rockford Public Schools DOES NOT necessarily mean that Wednesday evening events and activities are cancelled. Decisions to close or cancel will be made and broadcast prior to 4pm.
Music Ministry
The ministry of the arts expressed through music is vital to the health of BVC. Our musical worship teams lead our large group celebrations toward meaningful encounters with the living God. Worship Team members are selected based upon expressed interest, interview, skill and commitment to a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Avenues of Music Interest at BVC
Large group celebration worship teams. Teams rehearse weekly: Wed. 8-9:30 p.m.; Sunday, 7:30 a.m. Our worship teams lead our morning services.
Small group worship leaders are needed for many of our small groups. Please contact Tim Cosbyif you are interested in leading worship in a small group.

vocalists, guitarists, drummers, keyboard
players, and other instrumentalists.
