To request prayer for any need, email the BVC Prayer Connection. If you do not have access to email, call the church office and your request will be sent for you.

Emergency Cancellations and Closings
In the event of severe weather conditions and warnings, church offices and events may be closed and cancelled. Tune in to WCSG 91.3 FM, WOOD 1300 AM, 105.7FM, WOOD TV Channel 8, or WZZM TV Channel 13 for reported cancellations. Closing of Rockford Public Schools DOES NOT necessarily mean that Wednesday evening events and activities are cancelled. Decisions to close or cancel will be made and broadcast prior to 4pm.

Prayer Ministries

Partnering with God through prayer, BVC wants to help change the world. We are growing in what it means to be a praying church. The following prayer ministries exist to honor God, encourage prayer, and stimulate active involvement in mission to those who need Jesus Christ.

Prayer Connection

This ministry handles prayer requests by email.

Short-Term Mission Prayer Team

This team of people prays for each summer mission team that goes out from BVC. There area also teams formed by each individual mission team participant as personal prayer teams resulting in a concert of prayer for these short-term mission endeavors. Be a part of their great adventure with God!

Prayer Room

The prayer room is located in room 11. It provides a quiet, living room atmosphere to pray and worship with groups or as individuals. Special thanks to Stacey Devon and Cheryl Medvedenko for decorating the room.
