 Abundant Life Ministries
Mobile Food Truck distribution.
Abundant Life Ministry is calling on the Christian community:
Starting in mid September an after school tutoring program for kids, ages 7-15 will be held Tuesday, Wednesday,Thursday from 3:30-5pm. Kids need help with math, science, reading and homework. Location is @ Abundant Life Ministries, 107 Burton, 1 block east of Division St. If you know anyone that is interested in making a positive difference in the lives of inner city youth, please call Loryn Lougheed 443-0902.
Degage’ Ministries
Staff the kitchen (must be 16 years old), serve food, play games and hang out with patrons. Need 6 people for kitchen grill, 2-3 to serve food and the rest to play games.
- Times: 4th Tuesday 7:00-9:00pm, meet @ BVC 6:15pm, call to arrange a ride.

Experience One ~ Middle School Campout: Students finishing 6-8 grades
July 16-20 Leader: Lisa Frick (lisa@bellavistachurch.org)
5 days and 4 nights of new adventures to challenge and stretch you. At camp there will be times of music, games, speakers and worship. We will also have some local adventures, like canoeing/kayaking on a river, "survival" hiking, swimming and wrapping up out trip at Michigan Adventure. It's all the best of a camp experience PLUS the challenge of "GO INTO THE WORLD". We will visit different organizations throughout the week, doing projects and hearing about what they do for people in our community. Places like Life International, North Kent Service Center, Mel Trotter, and Degage. Come see what God is doing!

Experience Two ~ Grand Rapids Immersion: Students finishing 8-12
Must have completed an Experience 1 Mission Trip

July 14-20 Leaders: Joel Shaffer - Urban Transformation Ministries and Susan Hagedorn. The team will experience urban culture and issues as we get to know the people we are serving and stay in their community. Joel is planning a week full of experiencing God in a deeper way, service projects and working with kids and teens involved in Urban Transformations Ministries. We will stay in downtown Grand Rapids. Experience Three ~ we join adults and families from BVC in numerous missions trips. Look at the missions- short term missions page for the 2007 opportunities.
July 16-25 Leader: Loryn Lougheed 443-0902 Fly to Denver, stay at YWAM EagleRock Camp in the mountains west of Denver for 3 1/2 days of fun, fellowship and preparation for the adventures ahead. This time of music games, speakers, worship and creative arts training will prepare each person and each taem as a unit. It's all the best of a camp experience PLUS the challenge of, "GO INTO THE WORLD!" Then we travel by van to Juarez, Mexico. Staying at a church, we will work with the pastor in outreach to the children of the community. Schedule can include ministry at a orphange, park/ soccer ministry, jail visit, meal @ host homes, and work projects.
