Dance is a valued expression of worship at BVC. It has been valued by God since the beginning of humanity. Therefore, we seek to develop and preserve the art of dance as a meaningful way to celebrate and visually relate spiritual truth through movement. One of our favorite verses is Zeph. 3:17 "The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing." The word translated 'rejoice' is the hebrew word for twirl or dance. We believe that God is so delighted with his children that He twirls with delight over them. |
Our Director of Dance, Elizabeth Chamberlain, offers beginners level dance to those who are seeking to grow in their private and public dance.
