Galatians

About the Ministry
The Bella Vista Church Stephen Ministry is a
Christian caring ministry that had it's beginning
in 1993. It is a complete system for training
and organizing the people of Bella Vista Church
to give quality care to people who need it.
What is the Stephen Ministry?
The Stephen Ministry is an ongoing one-to-one
helping relationship offered to individuals who
are experiencing physical, mental, and emotional
anguish brought on by a crisis, a traumatic experience,
or a change-in-life situation.
Some examples of these would be someone experiencing
loneliness, depression, a terminal illness, the
birth of a child, a divorce, or single parenting.
A person who is hospitalized, home-bound, grieving,
having children leave home, or in crisis.
A trained Stephen Minister would walk along
side the person who is going through the crisis.
He or she offers a listening ear, loving care,
encouragement, and prayer throughout the course
of the crisis
"Come
to me, all you who are weary and burdened,
and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:
